Can We Prevent Wrinkles?

Adult women are so concerned of getting rid of their wrinkles. How about those women who are not yet experiencing it? Could they prevent wrinkles? How? I gathered information from different sources to answer this question and I summarized them as follows:


1.      Drink a lot of water: Water keeps our body properly hydrated, so as our skins. Proper hydration gives us healthy cells and moisturized skin, thus, keeping our skins from wrinkling.

    2. Minimize drinking alcohol: Too much drinking of alcohol, in contrary with water, can dehydrate our cells. Dehydrated cells would affect their capability to repair when subjected to stress like exposure to the sun or UV.


3.      Lose Weight Naturally: Losing weight the natural way keeps our skins from sagging, which can later form wrinkles. Losing weight the natural way would mean eating fruits and vegetables that are good source of water, vitamins and minerals that will give nourishment to our cells. Eating foods that are rich in antioxidants are also more recommended to prevent wrinkles. Let us also do it together with regular exercise to make our skin firmer.


     4. Have a Daily Skin Care: Taking care of our skin daily is very much needed. By knowing the needs of our skins, we could tell if something is going. Taking care of our skin does not only mean putting on moisturizers, toners and cleansers but also means getting rid of our bad habits such as smoking.

5.      Take Vitamins daily: Vitamins C and E are what our body needs more if we want to have that youthful skin. Vitamin C and E acts against free radicals that speeds up the aging process of our skin. There are also vitamin E oils that we can apply on our skin.

If you are very much concerned of developing wrinkles, you better do something about it in advance. “Prevention is better than cure,” as they say. Do something now to prevent wrinkles.
