Do Fats Help Prevent Wrinkles?

Many have observed that wrinkles are more likely to develop to skinny women or men. Chubby ones on the other hand are less prone to wrinkles. Does this imply that being fat could actually be a help for wrinkles?

A lot of writings could be found on the internet on developing wrinkles as an effect losing weight. Body fat, despite our willingness to get rid of it, has also its important purpose specially on giving a contour on our face. As mentioned by Laura Bramble in her article in ehow.com, our skin is more likely to wrinkle and sag as we lose fat in the face.
Am I saying it is better to be fat than skinny if it is wrinkles you are concerned of? Well, that is exactly not what I want to convey in this article. Having a slim and fit body could really boost our confidence in ourselves and give us a more of that youthful strength. Slimming down and taking good care of our skin at the same time could be a help for wrinkles not to develop while losing weight.

We develop wrinkles while losing weight because of the lost fat. It is fat (saturated) that gives the face its plumpness and has something to do with the elasticity and hydration of the face. So, as a recommendation, it is good to include foods in our diet that are high in saturated fats. Also, we could do facial exercises and daily facial natural treatments to restore the elasticity of the skin.

Getting wrinkles is one of the results of slimming down whether we like it or not. It is actually us (ourselves) who could help for wrinkles not to develop while on the process of losing weight.
