I checked on a variety of ways on how to lose weight. I was on
this moment when I happen to read an article stating that losing weight is one
of the causes of wrinkles. Oops! Not
good. What will I do now? How can I prevent wrinkles while losing weight at the same time?
So, I specifically looked for suggestions regarding this concern. Wendy
Rose Gould mentioned in her article in ehow.com that when a person gains
weight, our skin stretches to accommodate the additional weight which is the
reason why the skin tends to become saggy and wrinkly upon losing weight. This condition
is very much possible to occur especially when a person rapidly loses the
weight as cited in Livestrong.com.
It is therefore better to have a plan that promotes a gradual loss
of weight to give our skin a chance to adjust to the process and avoid sagged
skin. It is also best recommended by various sources to avoid doing the “yo-yo
dieting” (weight cycling) to avert from having a more stretched skin which can
lead to more wrinkles.
And I suddenly contemplated on something, how can I prevent wrinkles if skin care, healthy diet and exercise are
being neglected? Of course, these three things should not be taken for granted.
How we nurture our skin and plan our diet have a lot of effects on developing a
firm, supple and healthy skin. Doing exercises is also advised to develop the
accumulated extra skins into muscles instead of just letting it sag. Superskinnyme.com
suggests alternating low-impact exercises and cardio exercises in doing the
routine to lessen the risk of developing premature aging.
Will these ideas still help me on how can I prevent wrinkles specifically on the face even without losing weight? Well, there’s no doubt
about it. Losing weight is best for us in many positive ways. Doing it without
compromising our skin’s youthfulness is not a bad idea after all.
